One Mistake Most People Make When Running a Facebook Ad
I know how frustrating it’s when you spend your money on a Facebook Ad or Boost a Post on Facebook and not get the desired result.
This is where most Digital marketers suck. You may have boosted a post that is aimed at bringing traffic to your website only to get a bunch of likes on your Facebook page.
Picture yourself placing a sponsored advert on Facebook and always getting great ROI (Return On Investment) from it.
This is exactly what you will gain for reading this Post.
One mistake most Facebook advertisers make is that they forget that we have two types of Facebook sponsored Ads:
- Boosted Post and
- Facebook Ad
“A boosted post is a post on your page timeline that you can apply money to in order to boost it to an audience of your choice. ”
This is the simplest way to advertise on Facebook and also where most Facebook advertisers dwell.
“Facebook ads, on the other hand, are created through Ads Manager and offers more advanced customization solutions.”
In the Facebook ad, there are many advertising objectives to help you reach your specific business goals and the audiences you care about most.
The first thing to do before deciding which ad type to use is to define your advertising goal and audience. This also depends on your value journey.
If your major goal is just to create awareness, then boosted post can do the job for you, but not when you are out for traffic or conversion.
You can see from our definition that Boosted posts differ from Facebook ads because they are not created in Ads Manager and don’t have all of the same customization features.
The benefit of creating your ad from Ads Manager lies on the customization power. You can make the ad to suit your advertising goal.
To access Ads Manager on your mobile app, then go to settings and select Add Manager on the settings menu options.
For desktop users, you can go through your business manager and create your own ad account and other special features. USE Business Manager to login to your business manager page and enjoy more outstanding features for advertising.
Remember, ads created through the boosted post will also appear on your Ads Manager, but the only difference is that you didn’t have the same customisation benefits while creating them.
Don’t make the mistake of using a boosted post when you should use Facebook ad.
